Project EmpowerMed in a nutshell
After 4 years, the EmpowerMed project is finished. EmpowerMed demonstrated how to tackle energy poverty with different approaches and helped to raise the visibility of summertime energy poverty, gender aspects and links between health and energy poverty. EmpowerMed showed that energy poverty is a structural problem that requires structural solutions.
You can find key achievements of the project in this final report, from capacity building materials to practical actions to fight against energy poverty and to empower vulnerable households especially women, from research to advocacy work in the different participating countries and at the EU level.
