Gender analysis of the EmpowerMed project
A key focus of the EmpowerMed project was gender. Several activities were carried out aimed at increasing the representation of women, in particular at empowering them to fight against energy poverty.
This report examines the extent to which the gender-specific goals were achieved through the implementation of EmpowerMed’s measures. This means that the project is analyzed from a gender perspective. The analysis is based on previous publications:
“Data recording, collection frameworks and analysis framework”,
“Comparative analysis of implemented practical measures” and
“EmpowerMed cross-pilot analysis”.
The gender-specific data is collected from these three publications, restructured and analyzed in this report. In the last chapter, you fin recommendations with gender indicators that would be relevant for future projects and the gaps that could possibly be filled.
